So, tough question, huh?

What do we do when the world ends?

Well i guess that depends on how it ends. Perhaps all of the ice melts and all land becomes covered in water. Maybe the sun will grow in size and earth will become too hot for life to exist? Or will we quite simply use up all of our earths resources such as food, oil or water?

Either way you look at it, any one of these things could happen, and a lot sooner than we think. So, who has the plan b, or plan c? Do we plan now, or in the future? What if, the future is now?

I don’t know about you, but moving to another planet seems the most obvious solution. But what would we need to do, to make that possible?

Transportation into space? [ x ] check
Grow plants & trees to create oxygen [ x ] check
Ability to create water, clean and recycle it [ x ] check
Grow food and sustain it [ x ] check
Build homes, buildings and communities [ x ] check
Capture the suns energy and convert it into heat, light and power [ x ] check

It appears we have all of the building blocks to continue the human race somewhere else in the universe. But shouldn’t we also have a plan c ?

Shouldn’t we create a co-species that could carry on, in the event we can’t? Shouldn’t we create something that could carry earths history into the future? Wouldn’t it be such a waste if earths billion year history was wiped out, forgotten forever.

If robots were the next step in the evolution process, that doesn’t mean the end of humans, but the continuation in the ‘natural selection’ process.

Forget wasting time making him look like us. Why? He’s a robot for crying out loud. He’s meant to look like that.

When the next generation monkey popped out, ‘natural selection’ didnt say, “you know what, you look fine the way you are mr monkey, lets keep it that way”. Hell no, the DNA was changed and adapted for the better. Why have a little head, when you can increase the size, and therefore fit a much bigger brain in there. Genius.

Now, the natural selection is saying to us humans, “why increase the head, when you can keep it the same size, but stick a few circuit boards & a modem in there and you can have unlimited knowledge”. Super Genius.

Robots will come in all shapes and sizes, including human like, probably so they become ‘socially accepted’ a lot faster. But sticking artificial flesh on a peice of metal isn’t going to help when they start flying in to outer space, next to the sun. The superior robots should be designed with all aspects of adaption in mind, not just aesthetically pleasing.

Ok, so we’re just in the sandbox at the moment, in terms of robot advancement. We can make them walk, we can put a nice voice decorder in there and make them sound authentic, in essense we have the mobility foundations, but the real hard work begins with the artificial intellegence. We are now in control of ‘natural selection’ and programming them aint gonna be no stroll in the park.

This is where the real work begins. But you knew that, right?

First off, every single bit of history, since day 1, needs to be electronically stored. Im talking, the birth of the universe, world war one, the great wall of china, the creation of the internet. And this is not including documenting all living things and objects. Fish, monkeys, humans, grass, soil, trees, bikes, cars, planes.

And then you have the non-object informational matter. Why do birds sing? Which plane do i catch to London? This heater is over-heating, but why? What do i do about it? Why is water wet? and what happens if it comes into contact with electricity. If a robot dont know why, he’s not going to do very well in the real world is he?

It has to be written in a way, that the robot can understand and process it. No easy feat. But, us humans will eventually complete this mammouth task, and when we do, we’ll be looking at our future.

Lets face it, at one point, according to “them” the sun will run out of fuel and burn up. What then? Well one of us at some point has to plan it, so im going to make a start.

Like it or not, we are only a matter of time away from having to decolonise. Yes, if you’ve just noticed i’ve spelt decolonise with an “s” and not a “z”, thats because im English, or for wanting a better phrase, im from a small island next to Europe, England. Lots of great people come from England, so lets move on…

So what do i mean by decolonise? Well, every great thing must come to an end, and at one point in time our amazing planet and solar system will be eaten up by our sun and it will self destruct. Great huh? Well not really, as we’re going to have to find a new home. But the question is, what if. What if it happened a lot faster than a few billion years? Do we have a plan b? Do we know what to do? No? Well, heres the deal…

Monkey. Human. Robot.

There, i’ve said it. My evolutionary theory. Straight to the point.

If we’ve only got a few billion years to move homes, will it be enough time to evolve into a new species and allow us to move to another planet? Not sure? Me neither, rather than wait and see, i thought it might be best to start planning now and take action, and by reading this far, im hoping you also agree.

Evolutionists will have us believe we evolved millions of years ago from small microscopic matter, and although we dont have a time machine, i really think people like Charles Darwin have a point. But where does the human species go from here? If you forget about all of the space shuttles we’ve created for one minute and just thought about us as being a living, breathing animal, the “natural selection” process would have to grow us some huge wings and allow us to ‘breath’ in space. Now i dont know about you, but the chances of that happening before the sun self destructs versus the human race inventing something else, is sure more probable.

So somewhere in our DNA, “something” has programmed into us, that rather than wait for this to happen, we should probably go ahead and speed up the process. This ladies and gentlemen, brings me on to our main feature and thats….. what happens next.

For years, even centuries, people have been writing and talking about robots. They’ve painted a picture of man and robot living together, co-existing and living in perfect harmony. This is already happening, and we’re only a matter of time away from it becoming the next evolutionary step for the homo sapien.

My theory, is that, us humans will eventually create a robot that will be able to replicate itself, think for itself and ultimately carry on the “natural selection” process from us.

This robot will become a whole new species and will colonise other planets, forever bettering itself and always increasing it’s knowledge. At the moment, in the year 2009, we have robots that can walk, talk and even run unaided, only being held back by its unlimited independent power resource. Once we overcome this, we will only be a few steps away from our goal.

Which leads me on to this……………my theory above is already happening as we speak, ”the next step of the evolution process”, its just that not many of us have sat back and realised, or put any thought into it.

Humans need to eat. Robots dont. Humans need sleep. Robots dont. Humans need to breath. Robots dont. Humans cant move its entire species to another planet to save itself. Robots Can. Humans can build robots.
